About me

I wrote my first programs at ten and never stopped building.

I'm still the person who tries the new release first. That curiosity is why AI feels like home. I've watched every big wave of data technology arrive, and I've learned which ones create lasting value.

The lesson I keep coming back to: AI is only as good as the data beneath it. So that's what I build. Platforms, teams and practices that turn data into business outcomes. I've sat in every seat at the table: developer, founder, practice lead and Head of Data.

I'm a consultant at heart and an engineer by training. I stay close to the work, from strategy all the way to production, and I love growing consultants who pair technical depth with commercial thinking.

  1. Today

    Data Practice lead

    I lead a 38-person data practice and run it as a business. Governance, platforms, engineering, analytics and AI agents, for organisations in finance, utilities, pharma and higher education.

  2. Servian

    Microsoft and Databricks practice lead

    Led the Microsoft and Databricks practices, including a 35-person Databricks team supporting the finance division of a global car maker, plus major transformations in healthcare and higher education.

  3. Finity

    Head of Data

    Modernised the data platform and built reusable frameworks for ingestion, transformation, purge and archive, all governed through Microsoft Purview.

  4. Brazil

    Founder

    Founded and ran my own consultancy for six years, looking after sales, finance, people and delivery.

I've led teams across Australia, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, the USA and Europe.
